We've lost yet another classmate. Chris Anne (Stroup) Harmon passed away on June 30, 2025. Below is her obituary as published on the Mynatt Funeral Home website.

Chris Anne (Stroup) Harmon - October 3, 1952 - June 30, 2025 - Knoxville

Chris Anne Harmon, age 72, of Knoxville, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025. She was very active follower of UT soccer team, making several trips to AYSO National Games. She also drove the bus for her grandson’s high school marching band. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claire and Evelyn Stroup, and brother, Nicholas Stroup.

She is survived by her loving husband, Gary Harmon, sons, Derik Harmon and Marcus Edwardson, daughter, Hope Clark (Jason Clark), grandchildren, Tyler Edwardson & girlfriend, Hannah Strieves and Koressa Smith, and great-grandchildren, Abby Smith and Aiden Smith.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 12:00-2:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Chris Anne’s honor to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
