"Keeping The Memories Alive"

DENNIS "SPIDER" JOHNSON

Sadly, one of our more popular classmates, Dennis "Spider" Johnson, passed away on January 3. 2020.

As fellow classmate Don Watson said, "Dennis was always laughing and making everyone else laugh too." Indeed! He will be missed for sure.

Here is Dennis' obituary:

Dennis graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1970 and Kansas State University in 1975. He was a national sales director for Lowen Sign Company in Hutchinson and Aztec Sign Company in Austin, Texas. Later, Dennis worked as an independent landman in the oil and gas industry.

He was an avid K-State supporter and loved to watch the Kansas City Chiefs. Dennis loved spending time with his family and was the life of the party. His gregarious and fun-loving personality will be missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, January 11, 2020, at Fairlawn Burial Park in the mausoleum, with The Reverend Dr. Kim Biery officiating.
