Sadly, our fellow classmate, Larry Symonds, passed away suddenly on 10/09/2017. Here is Larry's obituary as published on the McGilley Memorial Chapel website:

Larry Kay Symonds, 64, passed away October 9, 2017. A celebration service will be held at St. Michael's and All Angels Church in Mission, KS on Saturday, October 14 at 11 am, visiting in the library at 10 am.

Larry was an avid runner and had ran in the New York City Marathon. He loved books and spent his free time writing. He spent many hours working as an advocate for children with autism. Survivors include three daughters, Jessica, Abigail and Alexis; a son, Andrew; two grandchildren; five sisters, and brother Terry.

Rest In Peace Larry.
