Our fellow classmate, Nancy Grossardt, passed away on 12/13/2018.

Here is Nancy's obituary as published in The Hutchinson News:

Nancy L. Zimmerman, 66, of Hutchinson, passed away on December 13, 2018, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center in Hutchinson. She was born on February 28, 1952, the daughter of Melvin and Chonita (Childers) Grossardt in Great Bend, KS.

She graduated from Hutchinson High School, and spent many years in the community. In 1992 she married Gregory D. Zimmerman in Hutchinson, KS.

Nancy was a member of Crossroads Christian Church for 30 years where she enjoyed singing in the choir and assisted in leading first morning worship. She was involved in Vacation Bible School registration and missionary work.

Nancy was employed with Tyson Foods for 8 years and later worked at Dillon�s for 13 years where she was a customer service representative for accident claims in Kansas and Missouri. She later went on to work for Daymon World Wide where she retired after 10 years of service. After she retired, Nancy enjoyed being home with her family and friends.

Preceding her in death are her parents, and a brother, Carl Grossardt. Survivors include: her husband, Gregory; daughter, Jennifer (Jordon) Lund; grandson, Allen Roush; sisters, Judith (Ron) O'Hara and Shirley (Larry) Wintamute; and an uncle, Bernerd Grossardt.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Christian Church in care of the Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, at 300 E. 30th Ave, Hutchinson, KS 67502.
