The following is the obituary for our classmate Phyllis (Londeen) Legg who passed away in 2011.

Phyllis J. Legg, a long-time resident of Huntsville, Texas, passed away Thursday morning, October 27, 2011, at her residence. She was 58 years old.

Phyllis was born November 24, 1952 to Wendell and Gladys Londeen in Kansas and was a member of Northside Baptist Church. Mrs. Legg is survived by a son, Joshua Armstrong of Conroe, Texas, daughters, Lindsay Horstman and Shannon Legg both of Huntsville, Texas, brother, Ronald Londeen of Houston, Texas, niece, Wendy Wolfe of Henderson and grandchildren, Hayden Armstrong, Grant Horstman and Kayson Nealis. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Gary and sister, Patricia.

Her biggest accomplishment was her three children, but more than anything she loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

Memorial Services to celebrate her life will be 11:00 am Monday October 31, 2011 at Northside Baptist Church with Pastor Reagan Cooksey officiating. The family would like to receive friends Monday morning starting at 10:00 am till service time in the church foyer.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Northside Baptist Church Children's Fund or MD Anderson's Cancer Center.
