RON SHIPLEY



I remember Ron Shipley. He was a really good guy! Quiet and unassuming. Sadly, he is no longer with us.

Here is Ron's obituary as reported in The Hutchinson News on 07/29/2014:

WICHITA, KS., Ronald Dean Shipley, 61, Associate Professor at Newman University, died Friday, July 25, 2014.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2014; Memorial Service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 1, 2014, both at Downing & Lahey West Mortuary, Wichita.

Survived by his wife, Caroline; sister, Sue Miller (Myron) of Haven; niece and nephew, David and Meghan Miller; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorials have been established with Newman University, Ron Shipley Memorial Radiology Scholarship, 3100 McCormick St., Wichita, KS 67213 or Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202.
