Not the best way to start off the new year. Sadly, we just lost another classmate.

Here is Stan Gartleman's obituary as posted on the Hutch News website on 01/04/2014:

WICHITA - Stanley D. Gartleman, 61, US Marine Veteran and retired Reno County firefighter, died December 31, 2013.

He is survived by his father, Phillip; brother, Jim; and half-siblings, Matt, Ted, Renee and Gladys.

Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, at Winfield Veterans' Cemetery.
