CYNTHIA "SUSAN" JOHNSON


As always, it saddens me to report that we have lost another Classmate. Here is Susie Johnson's obituary as published in "The Hutchinson News" on June 9, 2007:

GARDINER, MONTANA - Cynthia Sue "Susan" Johnson, 54, of Gardiner, Montana, died June 6, 2007.

She was born July 11, 1952, in Hutchinson, Kansas, the daughter of the late Corliss and Wanda Phillips Johnson. She was raised in Hutchinson with her six brothers and sisters. She graduated from Hutchinson High School. Her love of nature and the mountains brought her to Gardiner, Montana, where she lived, worked and played for many years. Susan was an avid reader and loved her family and friends.

Survivors include: two brothers, Corliss Lee (Anne) Johnson, Brookings, S.D., and Barry Johnson, Shawnee; and three sisters, Candy (Jim) Hund, Lago Vista, Texas, Deborah (Randy) Bernard, Farmer City, Ill., and Robin (Joey) Fisher, Belle Plaine.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Guy Michael Johnson.

There will be a family gathering Sunday in Gardiner, Montana.
